The Learning Link provides high quality instruction, including sessions from the Annual Course, that can be used year-round for group or individual learning opportunities. The Nurse Manager's Guide to the Reprocessing Competency
For the Nurse Manager in the GI setting who is responsible for ensuring that the cleaning and disinfection of endoscopes is done safely and effectively! The purpose of this new course is to offer Nurse Managers tools to:
- Encourage the use of SGNA scope cleaning standards and practices in their facilities.
- Utilize SGNA Standards and Guidelines to teach technicians and associates how to clean and disinfect scopes.
- Provide recognition for technicians and associates for the knowledge and skills resulting from this training.
- Review reprocessing procedure through hands-on practice.

Free Standards of Infection Control Contact Hour
